Occam’s Razor - the principle that in explaining a situation, for example being trapped in an education facility, no more assumptions should be made than are necessary. This principle is invoked to defend nominalism, however as we see in this short film, nothings normal to begin with.
The Picton tunnel has been given a harsh history. Going back to the 1940’s mid WW2, Picton specifically the tunnel was used to house chemical weaponry. However it was the toxic mushrooms spores inside the tunnel that caused a disaster killing the recruits.
Years after a little girl who stepped onto the tracks at the wrong time and got dragged through the tunnel. Since then this area and town itself has been rumoured to be one of the most haunted areas in NSW.
Collaborating with an experienced Punk band, we were approached to shoot a music video for there emotional and heartfelt single “Friend in Me”. Steering into a full narrative driven video to tell the songs tone and feelings through an original story, the planning process was a long and in-depth journey. From finding locations, props, learning cinematic tricks to show the protagonist travelling through her relationships introspectively, it was a very educational experience.
Dropbox Hack week was an exciting shoot, from post-production, creating a concept that would be most appealing to fans and clients of dropbox and the team involved. To then shooting at Bondi beach, such a beautiful setting we were able to capture amazing footage to then in the edit I was able to put together creating a great and informative highlight reel. The project went in depth on all the new initiatives and projects Dropbox’s team have been working on mixed with a celebratory party.
A straightforward concept with a heavy metaphor on life and death, this was an interesting and entertaining project, as I did cinematography and lighting, along with test shoots and casting, it was very creative driven short film.

Joel, a struggling Tattoo Artist, after witnessing his brother Miles death, locks himself in his Parlour for days, to dedicate his time to finishing a Tattoo for Miles he always promised he would. Still unsatisfied, he takes it a step further and breaks into the morgue, to finish the Tattoo on Miles cold dead arm, what Joel then hallucinates is him sitting up from the gurney and confronting him, this hallucination becomes Joel’s antagonist.
A love story of missed opportunities the push and pull of relationships and the boundaries when they are dating someone new. Shot in a dynamic and comedic style, we had fun showing these emotions in a high-energy way that matched the music we were conveying.
Caught in the cross fire of a drug operation we see two brothers on both sides of the criminal world, one a cop and the other a bodyguard for a cocaine kingpin undergo a tragic night. Mixed with beautiful performances and high-end shots this was an exciting project to work on.
